Investments can go down as well as up in value, so you could get back less than you put in. The information on the page does not constitute personal advice.
sellmysharecertificates.com is an execution only service where customers make their own investment decisions.
The pack contains a Share Sale Form, our Terms and Conditions and a Crest Transfer Form.
Complete and sign both the Share Sale Form and a Crest Transfer Form (one for each stock), and post these to us together with your valid share certificate(s).
Please note, we cannot do partial sales of share certificates. If you wish to sell only part of your holding, please look at our dialndeal.co.uk website.
On receipt of your documents we will sell your holdings. *
On the Settlement Date, we will send the sale proceeds by BACS directly to your bank account. Please allow two to three working days for the funds to arrive in the bank details provided.
* We always attempt to complete ID checks electronically, however sometimes this isn’t possible and you’ll need to provide valid original or certified documents. Once we have completed our ID checks on receipt of the documents, your holdings will be sold.
There are no account opening or ongoing fees. You simply pay a fixed commission for each company share holding we sell you.
Follow the 3 steps as detailed in the pack and leave the rest to us.
Unlike many other brokers, we charge a fixed commission rate of just £25.00. Look at the table below to see how we compare.
Our customer service team are here from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) should you ever need assistance.
All sale proceeds are paid directly to your bank account by BACS - not only is this quicker but is also more secure than sending a cheque by post.

How much will it cost?
We charge a fixed commission of £25.00 per holding - this will be deducted directly from the sale proceeds.
Please note that transactions over £10,000 are also subject to a £1.50 PTM levy charge. This is automatically deducted from the sale proceeds and paid to The Panel on Takeovers and Mergers.
If you wish to sell a share certificate for 1,500 Tesco shares and another for 500 Lloyds Bank shares, we will charge £50.00 (2 x £25.00).
If you have multiple share certificates all in the same company such as BP, we will still only charge one commission of £25.00.
